Our journey

4 key milestones have been transformational for our firm

2009 : Inception

Founded as an investment and trading platform with initial capital of $16mn, our founders utilised their extensive experience to generate returns through high yield, distressed and special situations credit. Raised $20mn from institutional private equity in 2010 to fully capitalize on market opportunities

2011 : Transformation

Backed by a large global fund of funds and through an exclusivity arrangement, our firm became an alternative asset manager and launched our inaugural fund focused on stressed and distressed credit and special situations in APAC and the Middle East. Over the first 9 years, the fund’s AUM grew organically with positive investment performance and existing relationships, refraining from actively seeking outside capital

2019 : Opening our doors

Recognizing the opportunity for accelerated growth and with the support of the large global fund of funds, we opened our doors to new external partners and launched our first closed-end private credit fund focused on Asia and Europe.

Today : Acceleration

$1.5bn AUM across commingled private credit funds and SMAs, we strive to continue delivering attractive investment outcomes for our partners by identifying and capitalizing on private and opportunistic corporate lending across APAC and the Middle East. We will continue to leverage and further develop our local expertise, best-in-class origination, research, operations & legal capabilities, and rigorous underwriting.
